In a year that included a massive Health Care Reform law, the second year of nearly 10% unemployment, Congressional public opinion ratings of 8%, a huge Federal deficit and growing, added to a flickering recovery, we are happy to report that we are survivors of 2010 and are looking forward to the challenges of 2011.
In 2010 Jereme Bates became the next President and CEO of our company. We are delighted with his appointment and look forward to the creativity and energy that he brings to our company. We also laid the foundation for the continued growth of our business by creating an ASO (Agency Services Organization) to help Partnered businesses meet the needs of their insurance clients. This new effort will bring many positive opportunities to our business and will eventually help you our clients with increased insurance markets, increasing administrative capability, and ever improving technology. Finally in 2010, we continued to help our clients save money, especially in the commercial insurance products. Under much duress, even health insurance showed modest improvement, but with the Health Care Reform law looming, experts are now suggesting that improvement may not continue. In 2011, we hope to get back on the positive side of our historical growth pattern. Since our inception in 1988 we have been fortunate to have had steady growth. The last two years have not lived up to our projections because our business is so heavily influenced by what is happening with our clients. Unfortunately, many have been affected by this economy even more than ourselves.
With the creation of our ASO as afore-mentioned, and with new government leadership, we are planning on a much more positive 2011. That also means that we are wishing you a solid business year and hopefully we all can make positive strides in this coming year together...
