2008 marks not only the 20th anniversary of the Bates Insurance Group, but my 35th year in dealing with insurance in some fashion or another. Once I get over the shock of realizing that many years have passed, I begin remembering those little things that I have learned over time that are important reminders for us as an insurance agency. The one item that keeps coming to mind is that we should not assume our busy clients have time to know and appreciate the many products and services that we offer them.

We also offer personal lines coverage which entails home, auto and other coverage for you and your employees' personal needs. In addition to that, there is personal and corporate financial planning and services, that can assist you in growing your personal wealth along with establishing and/or managing your company's retirement plans.
Insurance Products alone aren't enough. You also need great service. We have standards here that we take great pride in. We endeavor to return all calls and emails within 3 hours; to generate insurance certificates and binders the same day requested; assist clients with plan and enrollment changes on their employee benefit plans; to be a valuable resource for information; to provide creative problem solving and much more. We are not the largest insurance agency in Minnesota but we strive hard to be the very best.
